Hello December

December is finally here. It's hard to imagine the month I have been waiting for since April is finally here. I finished my research paper for my art class today. Which means I am officially done with that class! It's such a relief to not have that paper looming over my head. I really want to get better at not doing everything last minute, but I don't see that changing anytime soon. It feels good once I have completed it, but I can never seem to find the motivation to do it ahead of time. I have a couple more assignments left for my Spanish class and then after my final on Wednesday, I'm done with that class as well.

Omar's birthday is in a week and I'm not sure what I'm going to do for him. We are both working on the actual day, which is actually my last day at Chili's. I'm planning on baking some treats for that day. I think I may also get him some slippers. He always has something on his feet at home, so I figure he might enjoy the comfort and warmth of slippers for the winter. Last winter, I would catch him on occasion wearing my slippers. Then I will probably take him out to eat Saturday and maybe even to a movie.

I am starting to become very eager to have my baby. My stomach seems to be growing by the day, making things like sitting up, turning over in bed, and putting on my socks a little difficult. After analyzing the ultrasound picture over and over again, I have determined that she has my nose! I'm not completely positive, but they look strikingly similar! I guess only time will tell! I went to the doctor's this past Monday and learned that my baby has dropped and my cervix is softening. As much as I'm trying not to, I really hope she comes around a week early. I know the more I hope, the less likely it's going to be, but it really doesn't seem too unreasonable. After I receive my Amazon gift card for trading in my textbook, I plan to buy the rest of my baby "essentials", which mainly are a swing and a diaper pail.
